As a longtime C-Suite advisor in global corporations, Katherine now serves as a management consultant, and she also designs and facilitates training programs. Katherine partners with CEOs and C-Suite leaders to provide relevant training solutions for management and employees that build the critical skills and behaviors to effectively manage and lead in times of change, including M&A activities, restructurings and reinventions. She is an expert in assessing unique business challenges and establishing solutions and strategies that advance goals and accelerate growth.

Katherine advises companies on crisis communications activities, change management, culture transformation, reputation management, and media relations, as well as innovative branding and marketing solutions. Her clients include global corporations, nonprofits and startups. She is a faculty member of the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Having worked more than 20 years in executive communications for top Fortune companies (Boeing, ADM, Northern Trust and Tribune Company), Katherine has a deep expertise in effective employee and external global communications; crisis and reputation management; business and culture transformation; and branding and marketing strategies that positively position businesses and brands in global markets and to diverse audiences. She has vast experience in developing and implementing internal and external strategies for high-profile corporate activities, including multibillion-dollar acquisitions, divestitures, financial earnings, joint ventures, internet startups, and new product launches.

Katherine also was a freelance journalist, with more than 200 articles published in the Chicago Tribune, plus a weekly column in its Business Technology section. The articles were regularly published in the newspaper's employment, real estate and transportation sections. Her weekly "On the Job" column was syndicated by Tribune Media Services.
